Jackie MorrisWriter and Illustrator. Born in Birmingham, educated at the Bath Academy of Art, Wiltshire. Jackie has lived in Wales for 14 years just outside St Davids. She has illustrated for years and began writing for children in 1994. She won the Tir na n’Og prize in 2005 for The Seal Children. Jackie writes in both words and pictures. Her articles have been published in The Times Educational Supplement and Carousel Magazine. She has a new book of classic poetry coming out soon and will then be working on illustrations for The Snow Leopard. Jackie is a Member of Academi.

Jackie’s artwork of The Snow Leopard will be exhibited along with The Barefoot Book of Classic Poems, which is on the longlist for the Greenaway award.
