GEORGE, BRIAN

Brian George was born in Rhondda and now lives in Pontypool. He works as a schools advisor in Pontypridd. He studied French and English at Keele University and later completed a PhD in contemporary French literature at the University of Wales, Swansea. He has written articles and book chapters on French theatre and pop music for a variety of academic works and for various conferences.

He has been writing poetry and short stories for fifteen years, and many of his works have appeared in literary journals both in England and in Wales. His first published collection of short stories is Walking the Labyrinth (Stonebridge Publications, 2005).
