Novelist Claire Peate was born in Derby in 1974. She studied English Language & Linguistics at Sheffield University before spending ten years in the market research industry in London. Since moving to Wales Claire now works as a freelance writer and researcher. She lives in Cardiff with her Cornish husband David and their two children. Claire is a Member of Academi.
