ROBERTS, HUW

Born and raised in North Wales, Huw won first place in the Wales Fiction regional final of the Undiscovered Authors National Writing Competition 2006 for his first book Kamakan The Vampire Slug. He began writing this exciting children’s adventure rhyme in 1989 and after being persuaded by friends to complete the story, he gave up his job as a Marketing Manager and worked with Llandudno Cable Cars for two years in order to finish the book.
