GEORGE, CATHERINE

Catherine George was born in a village on the Welsh-English border and married a Chief Engineer of a large gold-mining operation in , where she lived for nine years. After returning to Britain, Catherine took a creative writing course and decided to try her hand at romance, reading countless Mills & Boon novels as research before writing one herself. Her first novel, which Romantic Times voted best of its genre for that year, was accepted, along with more than fifty written since. She now lives in Monmouthshire with her husband and Labrador.
