PETTITT, ANN

Ann Pettitt is originally from London and has lived on a small–holding in Carmarthenshire with her family for over twenty years. She runs a small business making hand–made wall tiles, and was a French teacher in comprehensives for ten years. In 1981 she ran a peace-march from Cardiff to Greenham Common and helped set up the peace-camp there. She has written an autobiographical book on the subject. Ann has also written for a number of national newspapers, feminist publications and magazines on the subjects of The Greenham Peace Camp, sustainable living, Feminism, Welsh politics and walking.
