Graeme Harper (aka Brooke Biaz) holds such awards as the National Book Council Award for New Fiction, the New South Wales Premier’s Award for New Fiction and the inaugural Commonwealth Universities doctoral scholarship in Creative Writing. Presented with the first doctorate in Creative Writing awarded in Australia, he holds a second doctorate from the University of East Anglia. He is founder of Making Your Campus Creative, director of Writing on Campus (creative-writing@jiscmail.ac.uk), a member of the AHRC’s Steering Committee on practice-led research, and the 2006 Foundation Chair of the Institute for Excellence in the Creative Industries at the University of Wales, Bangor. His work (books, films, media) includes Dancing on the Moon (Eclipse), Black Cat, Green Field (Transworld), Swallowing Film (Q), Creative writing in Higher Education (CCPA) and numerous shorter creative and critical works. Graeme is a Member of Academi.
