David Lloyd-Howells, FRSA; artist, thinker, activist, writer, poet, composer, “gifted teacher”, born in Cardiff in 1942. Listed in Directory International Biography, Cambridge Blue Book; British Music Yearbook; Who’s Who in Music and Musicians; Dictionary of Musical Performance. His career includes business management, education, community arts, freelance music, volunteer for adults with learning disabilities, adult literacy, counselling victims of crime. David’s media work includes radio and television contributions and appearances. He is a composer - Artistic Director, Sonicity with sonic art music broadcast worldwide. David is also a poet and has been published by Forward Press, Poetry Now and the International Society of Poets. He is a writer of press letters and magazine articles, and a dranmatist of stage drama including Walking on the Grass; Vernacular Cheek; UnDead Meat;
Eiderdown Street Wingless Without a Cage.
David was educated at the University of Wales [1977-80], University London [1981-83] and Fellowships London College of Music and Trinity College of Music, London. His other qualifications are in teaching, modern theology, vocational guidance and counselling. David’s achievements include being made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts by election for outstanding work in education; winning the Walford Davies Award in 1980; being a member Academi /Welsh Writers on Tour; being the author of The Kyros Prophecy and gaining Beacon Fellowship Highly Commended recognition for philanthropic Leadership. David is a campaigner and is Founder and Director of The Life Search Project, http://www.thelifesearchproject.org.uk/. He is currently writing his autobiography Grasswalking with Angels.
