Poet, performer, writer, tutor, broadcaster and arts consultant. David has published three collections of poetry including, most recently, Written on our Hands (Headland Publications, 2006). He is the first chair of the National Association for Literature Development, and has run the arts programmes at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea for the past 12 years. As a part of this work he directs the annual Dylan Thomas Festival and was recently commissioned to prepare a concept document for a proposed Ted Hughes Centre in the poet’s birthplace in Yorkshire. David is a Board Member of Academi.
