David Basker is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of German at Swansea University. He is also Chair of the School of Arts Learning and Teaching Committee and co-ordinator of the Centre for Contemporary German Literature at Swansea University. His research interests include German literature under National Socialism, especially inner emigration and West German literature since 1945. Dr Basker is currently working on Friedrich Christian Delius.
