LEWIS, JENNY

Although not Welsh, Jenny Lewis’ poetry is coloured by her unknown father, the "young South Wales borderer" who died when she was a few months old. Jenny trained as a painter before reading English at Oxford. She gained an MPhil in Poetry from the University of Glamorgan and has been a singer-songwriter, playwright, teacher, copy-writer and children’s author. She currently lives in Oxford and teaches poetry at the University.
