Author of children’s and adult fantasy. Born 1960 in the Rhondda Valley in south Wales. Colin has published work in an anthology and self published a novella and two novels.
Colin’s short story ’Always Just Behind’ was featured in the When Darkness Comes adult horror anthology, published by Crystal Serenades Publications 2004. Twenty-six of his short stories were published online on the Crystal Serenades website, throughout 2003 and 2004.
In 2005 he self published the first in his Wizards’ Kingdom trilogy. Wizards’ Kingdom (Athena Press, 2005) was well received in its initial debut and prompted a sequel. The Obelisk of Ashmar (Athena Press, 2006), which was a much enjoyed second in the series and was welcomed by children and adults alike.
This in turn was followed by the third and final part of the trilogy Jarrak’s Darkness (Athena Press, 2007). This was the long awaited finale to the whole series. The trilogy in general has been praised by teachers and librarians on its length and content. Children and adults, who find reading a challenge, as did Colin at an early age, will find his work enjoyable and flowing. The more avid reader will find the series as exciting and still fill their requirements for a fast paced, mythical tale. Colin does talks in schools, for more info go to his website.
Colin still lives in the Rhondda with his wife and two sons. Sample chapters of his trilogy can be read on the Amazon.co.uk website with the search inside feature and a full profile of the author can be found on his website.
