Dan was born in Aberdare in 1972. He moved to Haverhill in Suffolk during his childhood and has lived in Cambridge for 12 years. Dan has dropped out of two universities, worked as a tote operator, apple picker, animal feed salesman, newspaper vendor and Big Issue seller. He started writing poetry again four years ago, and has so far had 171 poems accepted/published in numerous magazines. Dan is currently a bookseller in Cambridge. Cinnamon Press is due to publish his first poetry collection in April, 2008.
