Adele Nozedar has enjoyed a varied career. She has been a TV presenter, singer in a cult indie band, has run highly successful record labels (both independent and major) and a PR company, she has exhibited her photography, written soundtracks, and is also co-owner/manager of a remote residential recording studio. She moved to Wales very precipitately in 1994 after an A&R trip to Cardiganshire to see the legendary Welsh band, Jess. During a detour across the Brecon Beacons she and husband Adam Fuest stumbled across a derelict Waterboard building which they moved into 10 days later. A couple of years later they built Twin Peaks Studio next door, which has hosted the Manics, Catatonia, and Babyshambles amongst others.
It seems that happy accidents and opportune moments have underscored all facets of Adele’s life, and her recent incarnation as an author is no exception. Like many other people, Adele had a vague idea that it might be a nice idea to write a book one day, but had never pursued this ambition and wouldn’t have known how to. However, a seemingly odd idea that birds could be messengers from the Otherworld resulted in a bizarre chain of events that resulted in her first book being published in 2006.
Adele has an overarching fascination with folklore, mythology, occult matters and the unseen world. Her next book brings together all these facets, and is completely inspired by the unique landscape and atmosphere of Wales.

One of the key themes in the book is the concept of the winged creature carrying messages, as well as the history of bird-as-augur from Greek and Roman times where they studied birds’ flight patterns and entrails to make critical decisions. Many people will love the many wonderful true stories of ordinary people in the present day too, who have encountered the miraculous, or healing qualities of birds in their own lives. This book is an enormous treasure trove of information that is spiritually uplifting and historically fascinating. It contains many general tip bits for bird-lovers to be enchanted by, such as: - baby robins eat 14 feet of earthworms a day - condors can fly for 10 miles without flapping their wings - a bird flying into a house foretells an important message - hummingbirds weigh less than a penny - and a jay is said to spend Fridays with the devil, telling tales!
