 New Welsh Review
Wales’s Literary Quarterly in English

New Welsh Review autumn 2007     New Welsh Review summer 2007     New Welsh Review spring 2007

New Welsh Review, Wales’s leading literary quarterly magazine in the English language, is supported by the Academi.

Founded in 1988 as the successor to The Welsh Review (1939– 1948) and Dock Leaves / The Anglo-Welsh Review (1949-1987), New Welsh Review is a showcase for the best new work by both established literary heavyweights and emerging young Welsh talent. It was described in a recent survey as one of the best five British literary magazines worth subscribing to.

The magazine has recently been dynamically re-designed and re-invigorated, thereby strengthening its reputation as Wales’s leading literary quarterly in English. In addition to new poetry and fiction, New Welsh Review features engaging articles and incisive reviews. Offering fresh ideas and critical opinion, the magazine casts an exuberant, challenging eye over the literary scene in Wales and beyond.
