| Description of Organization: St Deiniol’s is the perfect place for any writer wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Founded in 1889 by William Ewart Gladstone, it is a Grade 1 listed building and the only residential library in Britain. It offers comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation for those wishing to access its unique collection of more than 250,000 books, pamphlets and journals on a wide range of subjects including social and political history, theology, art and literature. Conference facilities are also available on a day or residential basis. |
