Total Fiction

Established in 2007, Total Fiction is a next generation initiative aimed at new writers, offering both ePublishing and traditional representation as a Literary Agency.

Getting a book published or even accepted by a Literary Agent is often a very difficult process for unknown writers. Total Fiction provides a ’stepping-stone’ into the industry in the form of ePublishing.

In the first instance we offer eBook publication only, to all of our new writers. This increases the chance of acceptance by us as ePublishing does not require a large financial commitment.

Other agencies do not offer this service. Instead they refuse the manuscript of the submitting writer point-blank if they are not 99.9% sure that the book is publishable and that it will sell in large quantities.

We do not make any promises that we will represent a writer as an agent or that their book will ever make it into print; this decision is entirely down to sales figures and the reviews / comments given by the readers of the eBook version.

eBook publication gives a writer a chance to prove his or her book is suitable for publication as a paperback. The statistics of the eBook sales are used as ’ammunition’ when we approach publishers and thus gives the writer a better chance at getting their book into print.
